Liz Armstrong

Ceramic Form 3
Liz Armstrong’s passion for clay started many years ago when she studied ceramics at Stroud Art College, but now she works from her own studio using mainly grogged and smooth porcelain from St Agnes, Cornwall.
She makes her own glazes for her large slab built and coiled textured stoneware vessels, thrown pieces and more recently hand sculptured birds and pebble forms which are raku fired in a garden kiln.
Her work, whether decorative or functional, is meant to be held and touched as well as being a visual pleasure.
